Kym was found by her mother. After trying to reach Kym by phone for nearly two days, my mom went to Kym's apartment and let herself in. She found Kym in bed, looking peacefully asleep.
The medical examiner has ruled out foul play and suicide is not suspected. It just seems to be natural causes. Kym had sleep apnea, and this is being investigated as the possible cause of death.
